can I exclude my UK born child in Tier 2 visa

Post by alanwong » Mon Apr 22, 2013 8:03 am

Dear All, I need urgent advice regarding my Tier 2 Visa.
God almighty, I grabbed an appointment last night for Friday.
I am wondering whether I can exclude my UK child in the visa application?
My child was born in UK and travelled outside UK and holds an entry clearance.
May I exclude my child in the Tier 2 visa application?
Thanks for any reply in advance.

Your thought is what? Following you getting your ILR, you will apply to Register your born-in-the-UK child as a British Citizen?

If yes to that, no need to apply for ILR for that child.

many thanks for your quick reply, John.
I will be eligible for ILR soon. But I have to apply for Tier 2 at the moment due to some reason. I want to Register my born-in-the-UK child as a British Citizen after getting ILR.
Is that feasible not to apply for Tier 2 dependent visa for my child as well?
