eea4 time count from issue of rc or date of start living

Post by nidaulhaque » Mon Apr 22, 2013 1:09 pm

hi,
i got one question for eea4 5 year time.

well my wife German nation sart living in uk in jan 2008 and got married with me in jan 2008 but with proxy marriage as i was on asylum and then we applied for permission to marrry here which we got it and then registered marriage here in may 2009 and they issue rc for 5 years,

she applied for pr on jan 2013 which is issued in feb 2013 and then i applied for pr in feb 2013 and issued in april 2013 so they counted my 5 years from when i start living with German national not from uk marriage.

now my question about my parents pr, as they were on asylum and living together with us and we applied rc in sept 2009 which is issued in may 2010, so i belive they can apply for pr (eea4) now as complected 5 years living with me and my wife, we got all the proof of residence or their time start from issue of rc? as alot of people said for me aswell that my time will atart from date of marriage but this was not right!!!!

another question,

does 5 years residence has to be same address of eea national in uk? or it can be different address of eea national, as at the start in 2008 they were not living with us at same address but we was supporting them.

I got one question for eea4 (5 year time).

now my question about my parents pr, as they were on asylum and living together with us and we applied rc in sept 2009 which is issued in may 2010, so i believe they can apply for pr (eea4) now as complected 5 years living with me and my wife, we got all the proof of residence (same address) or their time start from issue of rc? as a lot of people said for me as well that my time will start from date of marriage but this was not right!!!! so what your expert opinion says about this?

You both have pr, great.

Presumably, you parents are dependent on you. If so, they will obtain pr five years after living in the uk in accordance with the regulations. This would generally mean five years after living with you in the uk. This doesn't have to be five years after they applied for rc.
