Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa

Post by Skandy » Mon Apr 22, 2013 8:50 pm

Hi,

I am currently in PSW, my visa is expiring in June, I am registered as Director of my company last year ( Feb 2012) and I am working as a contractor.

1) Policy guidance mention that you need to "were registered with HM revenue and Customs as self-employed, or a registered director of a new or existing business no more than 3 months before your application"

As I am a director of my own company since last year (Feb 2012) will that be a problem?

2) will it be a problem if I send my current contract papers which I have with myself (Director) to my company and contract agency to client

Any kind of explanation and suggestions are greatly appreciated

Many thanks
Skandy

@ Skandy it says your company should be at least 3 month old but that doesn't mean if you registered in last year they won't accept it. 3 month is the minimum time your company should have been registered but if you registered before that it should be okay
I registered my company in July 2012 and applied for my visa in Dec 2012 but I am still waiting to hear from them

submitted director's report it should be okay, you don;t have to register another company

The thing that you have to prove is that your company is actively trading and that you are still registered as a director. Therefore your document to prove both the above should be not be more than 3 months old. It doesn't matter if your company was set up more than 3 months ago.
