Anybody in same situation pls

Post by laspo24 » Wed Apr 24, 2013 12:32 pm

Thanks for going through my post... Am About to apply for nationalisation based on spouse of Irish national. But have few questions to ask

1. My current third world password expired Feb this year and haven't been able to renew it bcos can't get a closer appointment from my London embassy as I reside in Northern Ireland.

2. Travelled down south alone without my Irish wife, forgot to carry my passport before it expired and was stopped by Garda, got cautioned but allowed me to go about my purpose of travelling after few questions.

Do you guys think it will affect my application if I go ahead or should I renew my current passport before applying? I know the second its there and can't help but to notify the office when applying. Any advice please.
Thanks again.

I've PM'ed you back in regards to this. Its best you renew your passport before applying for Naturalisation.

It depends if this "offense" is found on the PULSE SYSTEM. But even it got found out, it may delay your application but wont hinder your naturalisation application being approved.

Yes also notify them in a section provided on the Naturalisation application form about this offense when applying.
