Passport number wrong in UK visitor visa

My parents applied for visitor visa to UK for 6 months. But in that for my mom the passport number is wrong in the visa page. My parents submitted on April 18th for correction in vfs kolkatta. But we did not receive the passport yet. Any idea how many days it takes? The vfs person told 3-4 working days, but we did not receive any notification yet. I had booked a ticket on April 24th, but had to cancel it since we did not get the passport yet.
