Tier 1 General Extension experience Query in writing???

Post by shawpan » Wed Apr 24, 2013 2:04 pm

I booked a slot at Croydon for Tier-1 extension, I dont have a lawyer, so after submitting my documents, if case worker has any query, Will he/she ask me questions or give me a letter instead please? I can answer all the questions but I want to think before I say something stupid, that is why if the case worker provides the question in writing, I can go without a lawyer TBH. Did anyone have a situation where the case worker asked question instead of giving letters please?

Many Thanks

Depends on what the caseworker needs to know. Usually for full time employed people, questions will be asked as these don't need to be in writing. If you are self-employed though then you might get these in writing if it requires you to collect documentation.
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.

Thank you for your kind reply. In that case, I really dont need a lawyer then, because I'm self employed. Thanks again.

Hi Shawpan,

They will ask the question if something is not clear and they will make sure they check it with yourself before making any decision. I think this is one of the main reasons to go in Person, that if the case worker needs to confirm anything from your application, they can ask you at the spot.

Depending on caseworker's mood and how busy they are, they may give you enough time to think and reply.

Wish You Good Luck Buddy !!!
