enquire about travel with citizenship certificate

Post by smas4er » Wed Apr 24, 2013 8:18 pm

Hi
I have got a question. I am applying for citizenship of my children. Once they get their certificates can they travel using that certificate and a foreign passport (the foreign passport has no UK visa?)
Will appreciate your help

Does their foreign nationality require a visa? If yes, then the certificate doesn't act in lieu of a visa. Better to apply for a British passport in the country they are present.

If they can get to the border, they would be able to enter. The problem would most likely be getting on a flight without a visa.
