Applying for ILR after 6 years residency

Post by matiali3 » Thu Apr 25, 2013 2:37 pm

Hello All,

I am a bit Confused and If someone help me will be appreciated. I came as a Minor and had My Discretionary Leave from the 8th of May till 01/001/2010.

And applied for extension when I turned 17 and half got refused but won the appeal on Article 8 basis and now I have another Discretionary leave which will expire in December 2013.

I was wondering is it possible to apply For My Indefinite leave in May 2013 as my 6 years residency will completed in March 2013 ?

In addition, I am a student If I do not have ILR I will have difficulties applying for the course which I wants ..etc..

Thanks. :) :)

After you have been resident in the UK for 6 years under discretionary leave to remain you can apply for settlement under set(o) unless you had a failed asylum case then it's form HPDL.
