I have recently applied for my Extension of Tier-4 (General), which I sent at the following postal address:
UK Border Agency Tier 4 PO Box 500 Durham DH99 1WJ

I have received a letter with the reference number today, and on the envelope the return address is UKBA (Charging Ops Team) PO BOX 3468 Sheffield S3 8WA

why is that ? do all tiers 4 applicant received a letter from this team ?
and how long does it take to an answer ??

no it is not my first time, it 's my third extension within the UK. the letter says "thank you for the application by the above-named on form Tier 4. It will now be passed to a casework unit".

Hey all,
has anyone recently applied for Tier 4 visa with the dependant from inside the uk and filled the on-line application form?
I'm applying for Tier4 visa from inside the UK to extend my stay here. I want to apply for my spouse at the same time. There is an on-line application form on the uk border website: " 'Print and send' application for leave to remain (permission to stay) in the UK, and a biometric residence permit, as a Tier 4 Student or as a dependant of a Tier 4 Student".
As you see in this form it's been mentioned that "or as a dependant of a Tier 4 student". I have filled this form and I also entered my dependant information and in the end I paid our application fee for both on-line (the amount of payment that was shown to pay was exactly 711 pounds for both of us : 406+305 pounds).
Does my dependant need to fill any other form or just this on-line form is enough?
I was wondering if anyone could answer my question.

hi everyone, i am wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to switch category while your travel documents is with the home office? if yes how do you do it ? cancel the application they have and send another application ???
