birth certificate certification in the Netherlands

Hi,

Im in the process of applying for a MVV for the Netherlands and I need to take my birth certificate in when I register with the City Hall and also the IND. Ive just gotten it sent over from Australia and realised it doesn't have an apostille stamp on it. Will they accept it as its not a copy but the original document?
