Temporary stamp4 while waiting for a Eu4 Fam... Travel?

Post by maika3 » Fri Apr 26, 2013 10:52 pm

Hi all!!

I'm spanish and my husband is brazilian. We got married here in Ireland where we both reside. His residence card is expired already, and we are going to start with the EU1 application procces.

I know they give you a temporary stamp4 when you apply, after a few weeks.

My question is... can he travel with me to Spain once he has this temporary stamp? We have my sister wedding and we planned to do our spanish wedding as well... but I don't find any info about it! If not.. anyone knows where should we go to ask for a permit?

And a small question about the application... we lived together and have bills in both names, but I'm the one in the Tenency board register... is that a problem?

Thanks so much for your help!!

Temporary Stamp 4 is a permit. Just that it is temporary.

Being a non-visa national, it is unlikely that there would be any problems.

Yes as Brazilian people don't need visas for either Spain or Ireland there should be no problem to travel.

With regards to the rental registration, form EU1 says "Letters of Registration of Tenancy from the Private Residential Tenancies Board".

So if the landlord is ok to do it you might as well get them to add your husband to get a letter with his name and make sure there is no delay due to this.

But they might not bother you if you don't provide it, and in any case if they want it, they will give you the chance to provide the document before they make any decision.
