Form AN: Section 5 -Evidence of freedom from ITR

Post by nnj10 » Sat Apr 27, 2013 3:02 pm

Just reading through form AN (Pg. 15) Section 5 - Evidence of freedom from Immigration Time Restrictions (ITR) and lists following documents as evidence.

• Your passport showing permission to remain permanently in the UK OR
• The Home Office letter by which you were given permission to remain permanently in the UK
• If you came to the UK as an asylum seeker you should have evidence of appeal applications OR
• Evidence of being freely landed

Since UKBA started issuing BRPs there is no entry in passport.
I am considering application by post, do I also need to send ORIGINAL Biometric Residence Permit issued by UKBA and/or the accompanying letter? OR the "approval" letter given at PEO?

The approval letter (based on Tier-1 Gen at PEO) does not explicitly mention anything along the lines that your application is approved on this date.

Do not see any value in using NCS so UKBA would expect all originals.
Can some one who applied by post confirm whether they sent BRP along?
Information and/or advice provided by me is of general nature and is not intended to substitute for informed professional legal or other professional advice.
