Potential redundancy - help

Post by chez125 » Sat Apr 27, 2013 7:11 pm

I have worked for my current employer for 12 years and I am 1 week away from submitting my husbands visa application. It has come to my attention that I am under the threat of losing my job and being offered redundancy. This may happen in the next 3 months. As there is no confirmation as yet can I still submit the visa? And if it happens part way through the visa process before a decision is made what are my options.

If you've not received written notification from your employer then you should have nothing to worry about, so far as at the time of the application you meet the requirements

Hi Chez,

I was made redundant 2 months after I sent my FLR-M and it was not a problem when I got a reply from HO. As long as you had the job when you applied, along with all necessary payslips and Bank info. You should be fine IMO. :D
IMpossible is 2 letters to long!
