ilr

Post by okello » Sat Apr 27, 2013 8:55 pm

My wife and 12 year old daughter (dependant) documents were returned today granted 30 months. Somewhere it says they can extend for another 30 months after expiry of current leave before applying for settlement. My wife has been in UK since 2004 and daughter since 2006 legally as my dependants. My understanding is that they have spent more than 5 years though under dependant visa. Can someone shed light if I can go ahead and apply for ilr set(m) or is any rule which can stop me or make me wait for another 5 yrs. Please help here
