Shengen advise for UK ILR holder

Hi experts!

I am a UK Citizen by Birth married to Ukrainian national, living together in UK with a UK born child. My wife has UK ILR (had previously spouse visa)

We wish to travel to holland but I am confused with the shengen laws..

Does my wife require a shenghen visa to enter Holland (schipol)?. Our daughter will be with us but she has her passport. 1 thing to note is my wife kept her family name as does my daughter.

Please can somebody advise me.

Yes. Although the visa should be free.
