Maintenance for change of employment application

Hello friends,

I am currently on tier 2 visa (general) until May 2014. I am planning to change my employer. I have two questions:

Do I need to show 900 pounds maintenance for change of employment?

What will happen to my current leave to remain if my new tier 2 application is refused for any reason?
