From Tier 1 dependent visa to Tier 2 dependent visa

Hi
My question is regarding switching from Tier 1 to Tier 2 dependent visa. I came to UK following my marriage on Tier 1 dependent visa. The marriage ended in a divorce and I was back to my home country. Then after a while, I got a proposal from somebody who is on Tier 2 visa. My question is that if I applied for a Tier 2 dependent visa, is there a possibility that my application gets rejected since I was on Tier 1 dependent visa before? I had no overstay or any other legal issues in my earlier application and don't foresee any such problems in this one as well.
Any help regarding this matter would be much appreciated.
