One of my friend wants to switch from PSW to Tier 2 general. His visa expires in 3 months time. He has been offered this new job (to start from 1 June 2013). The new employer is willing to sponsor for Tier 2 general.
My friend is qualified accountant and also hold a bachelors degree.
Is RLMT exempt for him?
Does he need to work with the new employer for a certain period (e.g. 3 or 6 months) before RLMT becomes exempt?
Please let me know if you need any further information.

If he switches from PSW to Tier 2 then he is excempted from RLMT and he doesn't need to have worked for any period to be eligible.
