How much old Bank statement can be used for dependent Visa??

How much old Bank statement can be used for dependent Visa??

Hi Folks,

I have got a quick question. My wife is going to apply for dependent visa from India so I need to send three months bank statement to India from UK and I recently requested my bank to send me the latest statement till today but it could take 10 working days and besides that I need a few days to send it to India so I reckon by the time my wife will get hold of bank statement, it could be 2-3 weeks old. So i would like to know if 2-3 weeks old bank statement will be alright?

Should be fine, they should be no later than 28 days.
