ILR Application 28 days before EC Date - Success Cases

Post by Tier1toILR » Thu May 02, 2013 10:36 am

Hello all,

I thought of starting this topic where we can have single point of documentation of all the success / failure ILR application cases where an applicant has following pre condition:

1. First Entry to the UK > 30 Days of Entry Clearance Date
2. ILR application made 28 days before Entry Clearance Date and NOT First Entry to the UK.

This will give us all enough confidence that 90 day rule applies uniformly for all the cases.

Excerpt
The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur if the applicant is delayed travelling to the UK. Provided the period of delay does not exceed 90 days, it will not be counted as an absence

Personal Circumstances:
----------------------------
1. Entry clearance date: 13th Aug 2008
2. First Entry to the UK: 26th September, 2008
3. Intend to apply for ILR: Anytime after 16th July, 2013 ie; 28 Days before EC Date.

Appreciate your time in highlighting your personal experience, I'm sure it will help lot of ILR aspirants.

Thanks.
