morgate for Tier2 Visa

Post by manish11 » Fri May 03, 2013 11:34 pm

Hi All,

My wife and myself intent to buy a house in the UK we have been staying the UK for last three years.

We have got a mortgage promise form Halifax and all looks good. My question is will my wife dependent status be an issue for mortgage companies underwriters as we intent to apply for a joined mortgage.

she is in full time employment for last 18 months.

I am on Tier 2 ICT long term(under rules before April 2010 ) and my wife is on Tier2 ICT dependent, our Visa is valid for next 22 months

Regards

Unless u specify ur on ict and u have visa till 22 months it won't be a problem. They don't give mortgage to ppl who have limited stay my friend had similar prob everything went smoothly till he said to them he was on tier 1 general will this be a prob! Though he had 3 years leave they said we won't be able to process ur application.
