Re-enter UK CoS condition

Dear all,

I am on a Tier 2 (General) visa that will run out in about a couple of months. I want to apply for an extension. My employer has already issued me a CoS for over two years which looks okay apart from one part. Under the "Work dates" section, in addition to work dates, there is this

"Does the migrant need to leave and re-enter the UK during the period of the approval? N"

Now my confusion is that does this mean that with the new visa I won't be able to travel out of UK and come back? If that is the case, it is a mistake from my employer and I will need to ask for a new CoS without this restriction. But is it really what I am thinking it is?
