Hi Everyone,
The policy guidance for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Extension application states:

You get 20 points for extension if:

B. You have:
• registered with HM Revenue & Customs as self-employed; or
• registered a new business in which you are a director; or
• registered as a director of an existing business.
Where your last grant of entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain was as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant, one of the above conditions must have been met within six months of the specified date.

Question: How can PSW converted Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa holders fulfil this requirement when they already registered a new Company within three months before applying for Tier 1 (E) Initial application??

Thank you in advance for your help!!

Hi,

if you see the application form.

//section d
You must have been registered as self-employed or a director of a business within the
last 3 months before submitting your application as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur). If you were
registered earlier than this you will still need to provide evidence that you were registered in
this period.

Hi Nagisons, Thank you for your feedback but I am talking about Extension application. The Policy guidance states that we need to register as Director within six months of getting Tier 1 (E) visa. Please check points for Extension application in form/guidance.

We already registered within three months before appying incountry. How can we register again within six months of getting Initial visa???

Please clarify. Thank you!!!!

You are confused.... That clause is not for PSW cases, but other general cases which fall under option a, b and c.

Only PSW cases have to register business before applying. All other cases have to register after the visa is granted and that must be done within 6 months after the visa is granted.

Thanks,
shinya

Thank you for feedback Shinya!!!
That means PSW holders who get Tier 1 (E) visa already qualify for these 20 points and they do not need to do anything for this?
