applied for passport- went to different office

applied for passport- went to different office

I applied for first time adult passport and should have gone to Peterborough office.
When I had called IPS today, the customer service advised me that my passport application is currently being processed at Durham Office.

I thought it is supposed to go Peterborough office.
Can anybody please update it if it is normal?

It's normal. They move applications between offices to spread the load.
