Queries about Manitoba skilled Immigration

Hi,

I am posting this on behalf of a friend of mine. He has applied for Manitoba skilled visa from India. As he have some professional commitments for next 18 months, he can't live in Canada permanently for next 18 months.

1. Is there any restriction that applicant have to go to Canada with in any given time?

2. If he go to Canada for a months time and come back to India again to finish his work. will it affect his immigration status?
