Non FSA regulated Indian Bank letter

Post by Dawn786 » Wed May 08, 2013 9:25 pm

Hi,

I am very stressed due to my third party bank letter situation. I have 41k in my uk bank account and my brother is acting as third party (10k) for my application. The problem is, ICICI or HDFC bank in India are not willing to write "funds are disposable in UK". my brother is also attaching his personal declaration attested by indian lawyer.

I have seen many earlier members in this forum who got refused due to this reason. Can someone pls advice what can I do in this situation (getting money transfered in my uk acct is not an option).

Any help would be appreciated. Its an urgent SOS as my application is due next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no Bank will write that. (I keep saying. but someone took offense the other time, that UKBA is run by a bunch of minimum wager school drop outs who dont know how business functions. Their funky ideas become policy under the unqualified Mrs May. We saw that in the ITV documentary..)

If its an SOS situation, heres the solution,

your brother should trust you and transfer the money to the UK for the period of the application, and let it lie in your UK bank account un pounds, till the application is decided. Once the application is decided, you can transfer it back to him from the UK.

When the actual need arises for investment, he can txfr it back to the UK.

ICICI and HDFC , both can txfr money to the UK in one days notice.

thank you rahulsingh1 for your reply and suggestion, appreciate it. if need be my brother is willing to transfer money anytime to my uk account, however, as there are hundreds of member on this forum i m sure not everyone got the funds transferred in their account in uk. that is the reason why i posted my query here to know how my fellow members got their overseas indian bank letters with "funds transfer" clause.

I hope maybe someone here can respond who had a third party from india.

thnx

thanks sriks for your reply. can you pls tell me what documents your third party need to submit to the bank for transferring funds to uk and whether he transfered funds from ICICI bank or through some other channel to you.

many thanks
