urgent name problem

Hi All

I am applying dependent visa for my wife from delhi i have i issue .

My name : Mohammed Ahamad
Wife : Amrin Fathima Ahamad

Son : Muhammad Siddiq Ahamed


Son passport has mothers name as Amrin Fathima AHAMED
Birth Certificate shows Mothers Names as : Amrin Fathima Ahamad

Today she went to change the details to the passport office they have sent her back.
Saying that they need my passport physically to see. I am quite worried you see as its LOT OF MONEY on the visa fee i don’t want it to be rejected.

I called the VFS office they said they can’t take guarantee but write a covering letter addressing the issue when we submit.

What to do ?

Get a affidavit from notary saying that two names are of same person. dont worry too much.
