Tier 1 (G) applied for Long residency - Dependent status

Post by workseeker » Thu May 09, 2013 3:19 pm

All,

I am sure someone on this forum might have been in the similar situation.

I am on Tier 1 (G) visa due to expire on 23rd of May 2013, I have applied for 10 years long residency on 23rd Nov 2012, still have not heard anything from UKBA yet.

If I don't hear anything from UKBA even after visa expiry, what would be my dependents status in this country? can she continue to work until decision has been made on my ILR? After speaking to few Immigration advisers they said I can send ILR application for my dependents with the covering letter clearly explaining situation. Has anyone come across this situation before?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks
