I need to apply to switch into a Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) visa in June (I have an appointment at a Public Enquiry Office). I currently have a Tier 4 visa and have a certificate of sponsorship but am a bit concerned about proof of maintenance. The guidance states that I had to have £900 for maintenance in my bank account for a period of 90 days. However, last month I transferred all my funds from my savings account into my current account such that neither my current nor savings account have had £900 in them for a consecutive 90-day period. However, if considered together I have held over £5000 in my accounts (which are in the same bank) for the past 3 months.
Roughly my accounts look like this:
March-April
Current Account: Approx. £1000
Savings Account: Appox. £5000
April-May
(At the beginning)
Current Account: Approx. £300
Savings Account: Approx. £5000
(At the end)
Current Account: Approx. £5300
Savings Account: £0
May-June (statement not out yet but balance in current account will be above £900 and balance in savings account will be approx. £12000)
Will this cause any problems when I apply for my Tier 2 visa? Please help as I am very concerned about this!
Many thanks in advance.
