Passport interview

Post by destiniation_london » Fri May 10, 2013 10:56 am

How do you know if you have done satisfactory in passport interview for them to issue you passport, do they tell you on the spot if they will not issue you passport? Can we check this with advise helpline?

I had my passport interview today & I know it's just a formality and informal and we don't need to be nervous but I might have got little over cautious which led me to answer few incorrect answers about my past residence (5 years back) ..... I wanted to correct it but the interview was at such a rapid pace I could not get time to correct it.

The interviewer looked happy at the end and did not signal anything otherwise, I did ask him when can I expect the passport to which he said it could be anything between 1-2 week..maybe I'm trying to read too much into this as I'm overly eager to get past this last pole ... hopefully I'll get the passport in couple of days.....lets see

If all is well you will receive your passport within a few working days of the interview. I am not aware of anyone actually failing the interview.

Thanks mate, I must be reading too much into this as am sure like me many people are just too eager to bring an end to this immigration journey.
