Query on British Passport Application Form

Post by imranb » Sat May 11, 2013 3:39 pm

I am applying for my 1st British passport after being naturalised recently. Section 4 in the form expects me to provide my grandparents date of marriage. I hardly remember my own date of marriage, where in the earth would I find my grandparents date of marriage None of my grandparents are alive and infact they had passed away when my parents were still children. There is no way I can find out what my grandparents DOB and their date of marriages.

Can someone please share their experience if they had a similar dilemma and managed to successfully process their British passport application without providing such pointless information in the passport application form?

Many thanks for reading and any help would be highly appreciated.

Write unknown, your application doesn't rely on parents/grandparents, you were naturalised.
