Spouse Visa - need clarification - Islamabad

Post by rainbow24 » Mon Feb 05, 2007 2:12 pm

Has anyone applied for a spouse visa through BHC in Islamabad and had a rejection? If so, can someone clarify the following:

1) Did you receive a letter from the BHC informing you of the reasons for the rejection?

If anyone has had their visa approved, can you clarify the following:

1) How were you informed that the visa has been approved? Did you receive a message on the visadropbox telling you that the visa application/passport has been processed and to come and collect it. Did they call you and if so what did they say?

I'm just trying to find out because I have a message stating that my husband has to go and collect his visa application/passport. I have read a message on this forum before about a couple who applied for spouse visa and were told that they could go and collect the passport. They were both excited. When the partner arrived at the office, they were told "no you haven't been issued with a visa, you have an interview scheduled with the embassy and here is the letter"

What is the procedure, does anyone know?
