Confused Couple need advice please :)

Post by Stuckhelp » Mon May 13, 2013 6:58 pm

Hi Folks,

I will try and keep this as short as possible.

Basically my wife is from Serbia and we have been married since December 2012 but have been together on and off for years.

I am also Serbian by blood but I am born in London. I am 40 and have full English passport. I currently have my own LTD company and am VAT registered.

We have been told by not very good sources that I need to show all emails, Skype calls (not sure how to get a record of this), Western union transactions, pictures of us, plane tickets where we meet regularly in Belgium etc. Is this all needed?

What we are struggling with is information on what exactly we need to gather for her to go to the Belgrade office to apply.

Does she need to pass an English course prior to applying?

If yes, where does she have to do this?

Can she do this in England after getting the Visa?

What other paper work should she have?

She has no Job but has a flat, kids (over 18) and just finished a 4 year course in pharmacy.

Any help would be much appreciated with what exactly we need to produce.

I have a rented flat for us already.

Do I need to show my bank account, VAT returns, Tax returns for my company etc?

Thank you for any help and your time reading this.

Regards

Peter

You may want to see the following to see if they are relevant to your situation:

I read that whole site but I do not understand it, thats why I was hoping for someone to maybe put it in lamens terms what she needs.

Does she need to pass an English course?

Thanks

The guidance note clearly mentions the evidence required for the applicant's knowledge of the English language.
