get Polish person to ring urzad stanu cywilnego and they should advice on that. It's not hard ask few questions on the phone. I would't get involved in Polish consulate they no good at all. you could try get married in Polish consulate if they let you do that. Maybe worth asking. Don't know the rules as I never been there.
