Canadian Student Permit refused

Post by adhin » Wed May 15, 2013 9:46 am

Hey all,

Canadian Immigration refused my Student Permit today. These are the reasons;

I am not satisfied that you;
1. have sufficient and available financial resource, with out working in Canada, to pay your tuition fees for the course program.

You haven't satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay;
2. Your travel history
3. Your family ties to Canada and your country of residence

Ans:
1. My family friend showed them more than enough money with bank statement for the past 4 months. I did some from my account too.
2. I did my degree in India now applying from my country. I had legal documents. I don't know what they mean?
3. I have brother and a sister leaving in Canada. I can't do anything about that?

I am very much worried. Please help me if you can. Thanks

Adhin

If you have got the right of appeal and feel that your appeal grounds will be strong then you can go ahead with your appeal.

I have the right to re-apply only if my case changes greatly. There are are four things:

- Family ties
- Intent to stay
- Travel history
- Financial problem

Family ties: there is nothing I can do about this. I think the only thing I can do is to provide more proof that I will not stay in Canada.

Intent to return: I am planning to get job offers from my office. I have Small shop that my wife runs. She has a house in her name, but I don't know if that works for me. I was planning to take her with me, I think that complicated my case.

Travel history: in my understanding, they are telling me I did not travel to many countries so I won get visa. I did study in India.

Financial problem: My sponsor showed them enough money. I think they don't trust him. Do you think putting his money on my account works?

Is there anything you can think of ? Thanks so much! :( :(

Study Permit Canada

Post by Riention » Tue May 21, 2013 7:37 am

For a Study Permit Canada it is mandatory that you provide enough evidence to convince them that you will be able to pay your tuition fees and living expenses without working in Canada. You should also demonstrate that you intend to return. Since your brother and sister are in Canada they might be under the impression that you won't leave after your studies.

Riention, one year fee for tuition and living expenses and health insurance, according to admission letter is CAD 27,820. My sponsor provided bank statement for the past 4 months with fund of CAD 39,029. I did from my account some CAD 16,000. All in all, I have showed them CAD 55,029 for my first year. What does it mean you don't have sufficient financial resource?

I plan to leave my wife behind. Show the shop business I have, show the house we have , and provide job offer from my offices. Do you think that is enough to proof that I will return?

I genuinely want to come back! Thanks

You must be given the right of appeal. You can also inquire from them that is there any option which allows for the re-consideration of this case.
