Family visa or visitor visa?

Post by ILR.dot.dot.dot » Thu May 16, 2013 10:00 am

Hi,
I am on tier-1 visa and stayed in UK for around 5 years. I do not have ILR yet. I wanted to bring my parents to UK to visit me. I am not sure if they can come on family visa? The requirement for family visa says that I should be permanently settled in UK for my parents to come to UK but I am not sure if tier-1 is considered as permanently settled.
Should I bring them on Family visa or visitor visa?
Could some one help me please?

Thanks

Could you share list of docs or point me to a link which explains which all documents are required for the application - what docs I need to send to them and which all docs they needs to prepare?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Individuals have different situations. The visit visa guidance and form make suggestions of what might be relevant but it really depends on the individual circumstances.
