10 months and my PR decision somewhere nowhere LOST ( they send decision 5 months ago but i missed and it return to HO)

i send letter

MP has written letter

and no nothing..

if i visit to HO, do i need to get an appoinment to ask whats goin on my case?

i think you are already following the correct path and have involved MP. However you can contact them yourself too and sometimes the operator provides help to know the current progress of application.
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

If it is lost in the post (the same thing happened to us) then they told us to fill in a Return Of Documents form (you can find it on the UKBA website) and say to ask for a P58 investigation in the notes (a Royal Mail lost post investigation).

It's like banging your head against a brick wall dealing with the UKBA.

Ours turned up by a miracle after being sent to Canada!! Good luck.
