Spouse visa financial requirement inside uk

Post by Heavenlee » Fri May 17, 2013 9:16 pm

Hi

I am planning to apply either tomorrow or Monday for a spouse visa I earn 22000 per annum however my payslip from November shows a lesser value which still meets the requirement, My husband (sponsor) is working at the moment but since I meet the requirement I was going to apply using only my own payslips and bank statements for the 6 months prior application. Do I really have to also provide details about my husband s salary and also documents supporting the income?! Or can I just not add his salary? Please kindly advise, my husband is not able to provide me with the payslips right away because my application is urgent.

If you earn enough and can provide the required specified evidence then it's fine just to use your income providing you are working legally in the uk.

Thanks for reply, but does that mean I shouldn't fill in the section of the form whereby I am asked sponsor'sincome and work? Or should I answer it and add the combined income then only provide my evidence?

You could include it but then state in the extra information box that you want the financial requirement to be based on the applicants income not the sponsor as you're unable to get the specified evidence for the sponsor. That should suffice.
