Impact of bad credit report on UK tier 2 work permit

Hi,

I am working in a INDIAN multinational company and my company Is going to apply for UK tier 2 work permit for me.

I was having 6 personal loans and 4 credit card bill in india, which I was not able to pay on time but now I have settled 4 loans and all credit cards. Still 2 of the loans are opened and I have not made any payment from last 3 years.

I am worried if it will have any impact on my UK work permit. Please clarify.

If you reach UK and apply from inside the uk then i think your backhome past financial history will not affect you.

My question is, will I get UK work permit if I am applying from INDIA and I have bad credit report in INDIA.

I dont think there are any implications of having a bad credit profile in India and applying for a work permit, unless there are legalities/police reports filed against. Sorry, can't be of much help here.
