How long have they granted you as Tier 2 ( General ) Migrant?ILR_HP wrote:Hi, I am applying for ILR under the Tier 2 General category wanted a clarification on section 11(Page 53) where they have mentioned "For the period before you were granted leave as Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the migration rules for the period in question as specified below:"
I was under Tier 1 before Tier 2 General could you please help me to understand what document I need to submit as evidence as they are re guiding to Sec 11L which in in turn points to Section 9A.
Required documentation for your Tier 2 ( General) will be Employment History ( from HMRC), Employer's P60 s for the said period. That is to proof that you have met the conditions for which you were granted your visa.ie:- Being Economically Active.ILR_HP wrote:For 3 years valid until June 2014
No problems Mate. If you need further assistance please post your questions!!!ILR_HP wrote:Thanks Kevin much appreciated for quick reply
They are asking for proof that as Tier 1 Migrant, how you have been economically active? Is Tier 1 + Tier 2 ( General) combination for 5 years?? Then you need to give documentary proof.ILR_HP wrote:Sorry Kevin just require further clarification on the reply you gave, as per my question raised they are asking for the documents proof for the visa before my current visa that is Tier 1 ( my 5 years is combination of WP+HSMP Approval/Tier1+Tier 2 General) I am applying ILR as Tier 2 Migrant but my previous grant was for Tier 1 so are they asking about proof for Tier 1?
Yearly P60 and HMRC letter is sufficient.ILR_HP wrote:I would like to understand the definition of economically active is that tax and NI contributions for a particular year, if yes is there any minimum amount criteria, or for example even few pounds will be treated as economically active.
I suppose even for the period I was on Tier 1 P60 and letter from HMRC should be sufficient as a documentary proof.
