Referee for child - HV passport expired

Post by Sox1 » Mon May 20, 2013 12:18 pm

Hi

I've searched the forum and read the child FAQs but can't find an answer to my particular question - apologies if I'm missing something, as this must have happened to someone else.

My health visitor has signed my 2 year old's citizenship application as a referee. The health visitor is British but his passport has expired, so he has written "expired" in the box for a passport number. He has given his nursing registration number as well as all the other details requested.

The other referee is a friend over 25 who holds a British passport.

I'm am 90% sure the hv referee will be fine, but that niggling 10% has me worrying - I really don't want the application delayed or turned down because of something like that!

Many thanks in advance.

The professional referee doesn't need to hold a British passport or a valid passport.

You will be fine.
