I am sure many ppl asked same questions but Can I use DVLA approved driving instructor to undesign my son's first passport.

I will appreciate if senior member advise. I been through list but no mention of driving instructor. someone mentioned that HM passport service is not that strict regarding who sign the application form.

Driving instructor is on the HO professionals list for naturalisation but is not there on the IPS list for passport. I suspect this is a typo mistake and it should be OK (assuming he knows you for more than 2 years). You can always call IPS adviceline (0300 222 0000) to verify.
