I think you mean naturalisation. However, unfortunately you have to meet the Knowledge of life in the uk requirement that's usually with the life in the uk test. However, how long did your ILR take and how long how you been in the country? As you may be able to apply for citizenship sooner. Also are you married or civil p to a British citizen?syedfarhatraza wrote:I got ILR on November 15, 2012 under judicial review
Planning to apply for neutralisation any time after November 15 2013.
Do I need to pass Life In UK keeping in mind that I got ILR under judicial review. Same question is for English language going to be added after October 26.
Secondly I heard that anybody applying for neutralisation have to pass English test as well. I passed TOFEL test in 1990 with score of 509. Is it acceptable? If not what is the other equivalent English language qualification?

Applied for entry clearance, which was refused, appealed to tribunal which was successful.
However it took long time till 2008. Got entry clearance and came to UK on November 15.
On November 15 2012, got ILR based on judicial review.

Children under 18 are exempt. Providing your Degree is verified by NARIC - http://ecctis.co.uk/naric/ - as comparable to an English degree and is either on the NARIC list or you have a letter from the University to say the medium of teaching was English, that will be fine. Your wife will have to sit an English speaking and listening test.syedfarhatraza wrote:I have two degree taught in English:
