Android-Guy wrote:Hi,
Just wanted to ask a couple of quick questions?
1) If someone won the appeal on grounds of Human Rights there is a new route for that and they are not getting Discretionary leave any more? is that correct? and what sort of duration would that be?
The new route to settlement is 10 year. 2.5 years visa x 4 times.
2) What will happen if UKBA held the passports during the appeal process and applicant won the appeal but hasn't received the passport and then it get expired whilst they are with UKBA?
If the passport expires, then it will expire. If applicants gets a status in UK, they will be given status on something called "ISD". Its an A4 paper with the visa sticker on. By showing this paper, they can renew their passport from their home country's embassy.
Thanks for your time and efforts. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks alot. Another quick question, what can be done to make passport of their daughter who was born here but not included in the application? After getting the passport Do they need to send the passport back to HO to get the same status for their baby? Many thanksAyyubi72 wrote:Android-Guy wrote:Hi,

daughter was just born and was only 1 day old when they put forward the application, HO already aware of the daughter and they have got her birth certificate as well.Ayyubi72 wrote:Why was the daughter not included in the application? They should immediately inform HO about the daughter and send them her birth certificate.
