Is it about the people that applied in Dec 2011 or is it about you?

My wife applied on Dec 2011 too, she sent INIS two new GNIB cards as it expired twice since then, also she sent them my Naturalisation cert as an update of her husband status, wondering if that is why her file is delayed till now. contacting them every month with the same answer you mentioned, feel like she will not be invited to the next cermoney too :(

My Two sisters and I applied in Dec '11 and two of us were in the Ceremony on Monday and my other sister received her approval on the same date, the 20th! We applied based on 5 years residency.

Wishing you the best and hope the send you a reply soon!

Well as you can see quite clearly, some people that applied in Dec 2011 had so long taken their certificate of naturalisation, gone to ceremonies and some have been approved and are waiting for ceremony date.

It has nothing to do with Dec 2011 applicants but you as an individual.

Yes you can if you want, but to be honest. Contacting TD's have little to No impact on naturalisation procession.

It really doesnt matter the names they give to the sections, what matters is that your application is possibly at the advanced stage now and you'll be hearing a good news within 3 months time. :)
