Hello every one,

hope you all doing well. I am on Tier 2 General Visa valid until June 2016. I am with my partner(we are not married yet but living together). She is on Tier 1 PSW valid till end of this year.

1) Can we apply for Tier -2 dependent visa (without marriage but soon or later we will be getting married) ?

2) Does she need to leave country before applying (if married), I don't think so because she already had entry clearance.

3) Can i please have any proper guidance where i can see that she has no restrictions of work (required for her employer)
Never mind!!!

1) Yes. However, you have to prove that you have lived with your partner in a relationship similar to marriage or civil partnership (for at least 2 years if I am not mistaken).

2) Yes, your partner must leave the UK in order to switch from PSW to dependant of Tier 2 (even is you are married).

3) Dependant of Tier1, Tier 2, Tier 4 and Tier 5 are allowed to work except as doctors or dentists.
