IELTS test for Dependent Visa . Is it required?

Hello There

I am a Tier 1 - General visa holder, and would like to bring my wife to UK on dependent visa.

I would like to know, should dependent have to take IELTS test and sufficient mark to apply for visa?

if your dependent is applying from outside the uk then you should refer to checklist of documents:
