Tier 2 Extension and Salary impact due to SOC2012 (Urgent!)

Post by veerreddykarri » Thu May 23, 2013 12:16 am

I have been granted leave for 3 years under Tier 2 (General) on Feb 2012. I was granted a CoS as Programmer as my salary was £26000 under SOC2000. I have been waived for Resident Market Labour Test as it was Post study Work conversion. I have seen the new SOC 2012 where programmer role has New entrant as £24,000/Experienced: £29,800. It is calculated for 39 hr /week. If we break it down to 37.5 it will be £28680. I don’t think my salary will increase by Feb 2015 that much due to recession. I need your kind advice on regarding this please. Is there an impact which I need to consider immediately which I need to flag it to management or Can I be getting a new CoS under different role which suits my Salary?

Salary requirement is a must ,It will ve an impact if u don't meet the salary in 2015, options u ve are to ask for a raise or keep ur options open and look for another job before 2015 which pays more than the experienced worker rate.
Best of luck hope it pans out for u
