Buy the 3rd edition it is 30 pence cheaper on amazon. This 3rd edition of Life in the United Kingdom is the official handbook for the new Life in the UK tests to be taken on or after 25 March 2013. It contains all the official learning material for the test and is written in clear, simple language - making it easy to understand. It covers a range of topics you need to know to pass your test and apply for UK citizenship or permanent residency, including: the process of becoming a citizen or permanent resident; the values and principles of the UK; traditions and culture from around the UK; the events and people that have shaped the UK's history; the government and the law; getting involved in your community. A glossary and index are included.
Thanks!acha114 wrote:Read my post on passing the LITUK test here and you won't go wrong!

As for books, I just read from Life in the United Kingdom: a guide for new residents, 2013 Edition. You can get it from any bookshop or, if you don't want to buy it, your local library. No need for any other books.
