Name change on spouse visa

Basically My husband and I have the same surname but his spelling is different to mine
We're family
He wants to change it to my way of spelling it and he wants to change some spelling in his name
If he's on spouse visa can he do it and what's the process in how to do it?
His passport runs out in 2016
We just got married
